Scappoose Public Library. Kids entering grades 4 through 6 are invited to attend Intro to D&D for Tweens. Join our merry party and learn how to play Dungeons and Dragons! Tuesday, July 8th, 4:00 to 5:30 PM. Includes an illustration of a human with a sword walking towards a dragon lifting off from a mountain. Scappoose Public Library Tween Events: Kids entering grades 4 through 6 are invited to attend. June 24th: Outside Games. July 8th: Intro to D&D. July 22nd: Trivia & Treats. August 5th: Perler Pixel Party. Alternating Tuesdays, 4:00 to 5:00 PM.

Columbia County is participating in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.  Kids 0-5 years old can be signed-up to receive a FREE book every month in the mail.   The program is designed to encourage a love of reading from an early age.
