Summer Reading Program 2023: Find Your Voice!

Books and [Wrist]Bands! Get a reading book, tracker booklet, and a wristband when you sign up! Then fill out your wristband with charms as you fill out your tracker booklet. Read for six weeks and you will get another reading book! This year Summer Reading kicks off on June 17th and prizes can be earned through August 31st.

Tuesdays

Storytime, 10:30–11:30, for all ages

Wednesdays

Building & Bubbles, 1:00–3:00 PM, for all ages

Thursdays

Art Experiences, 1:00–2:00 PM, for all ages but little kids may need a grownup's help

Fridays

  • First Chapter Fridays, 1:00–2:00 PM, for all ages
  • Tween Events, alternating Fridays, 3:00–4:00 PM, for youth entering grades 4–6
  • Teen Events, alternating Fridays, 3:00–4:00 PM, for youth entering grades 7–12
  • Movies by Moonlight, Friday nights in August

Saturdays

Special Events,  11 AM start, for all ages

Columbia County is participating in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.  Kids 0-5 years old can be signed-up to receive a FREE book every month in the mail.   The program is designed to encourage a love of reading from an early age.
