Pat will share her 12,000 year heritage and culture. Learn about the extensive Columbia River trade route, the wealth of the Native People from fishing and trade (commerce). Pat will discuss the unique dip net fishing techniques, the importance of Native Women, and the cultural lifestyles: houses, cooking, foods, clothing, art and crafts. Pat will also bring artifacts to highlight the culture. Pat is a Wasco Native, the upriver branch of the Chinook Nation. Her ancestors lived along the Columbia River for generations. Pat is known for her traditional Northwest Native Weavings.
