Cooking Club

The Cooking Club is a three week program for students in Grades 4–6. We will learn to follow some beginning recipes and develop new cooking skills. It will be held at the Scappoose Public Library on three Thursdays in October: the 13th, 20th, and 27th. Each session will run from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. Space is limited, so please plan to attend all three sessions.

Ukulele Jam

Thursdays, 10 AM – Noon.

Lego Open Play

Children and families are invited to play with Legos in the Scappoose Library Meeting Room on Wednesdays, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Legos will be provided.

Produce Distribution

Storytime

Storytime has returned, all ages are welcome! Tuesdays, 10:30–11:15, Library Meeting Room.

Writing Group

A writing group hosted by Dr. Margaret Trenchard-Smith will meet every 3rd Saturday at 4:00 PM via Zoom. All ages are welcome. Email staff@scappooselibrary.org for the Zoom access information.

Little Explorers

Little Explorers is drop-in play for ages 0–5! Every Friday morning, 10:30–11:30 AM, in the library meeting room. We provide the toys and activities, you bring the preschoolers and supervision.

Board Game Night: Tokaido

October's learn-and-play game is "Tokaido" by Antoine Bauza. On the second Thursday of each month adults are invited to learn a new game at the library, led by Andrea Moulding. October 13th, 6–8 PM.
