Board Game Night

The Scappoose Public Library is hosting free board game nights for adults every Thursday, from 6 to 8 PM.

Drop-In Chess

Play chess with other kids, practice your strategy and moves, and learn from each other! Third Thursdays, 4:00–5:00 PM, starting October 2023.

Ukulele Jam

Thursdays, 10 AM – Noon.

Drop-In LEGO Play

Drop in for some building fun and meet friends after school! Wednesdays, 2:00–4:00 PM.

Produce Distribution

Fiber Friends

Fiber Friends is a crafting group open to all! It meets every Tuesday at the Library, from 6 to 8 PM. Bring your current project to work on while you chat with other crafters!

Tween Time: Cookies and Crafts

Decorate tie-dye cookies, make colorful friendship bracelets, and hang out! Grades 4–6, Tuesday, November 14th, 4–5 PM.

Music and Movement

Energetic music, dancing, and playtime for kids ages 0–5 and their grownups. Tuesdays, 10:30–11:30 AM.

Come Write In

November is National Novel Writing Month, also known as NaNoWriMo. The Scappoose Public Library will be hosting a Write-In every Sunday, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Take advantage of the peace and quiet while the library is closed!

Puzzle Race

Make a team of your own or join ours! Register in person at the library or by calling (503) 543-7123. The race is at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 12th.
