Come celebrate Earth Day at the Scappoose Public Library! We will be in Heritage Park from 7:30 AM to 3 PM on Saturday, April 26th.

Breakfast will be available to volunteers who help clean up Scappoose in the morning, 7:30–10:00. Volunteers must register beforehand.

There will be community booths, music, children's activities, free food 11:30–2:00, and a drawing for a free electric bike at 2:30!

Scappoose Oregon Earth Day. Go green to save green. 8 AM–11 AM Beautifying Scappoose. 12 PM–3 PM Booths, live music, and lunch in Heritage Park. Saturday, April 26, 7:30 AM–3:00 PM at Heritage Park. Activities include: 7:30 AM Volunteer Breakfast at Heritage Park, Green Tech. Gardening. Giveaways. Free lunch with the Scappoose Police Department. Electric bicycle raffle at 2:30. Columbia County is participating in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.  Kids 0-5 years old can be signed-up to receive a FREE book every month in the mail.   The program is designed to encourage a love of reading from an early age.
