The Friends of the Scappoose Public Library will hold a book sale in the basement of the library from 10 AM to 2 PM on the second Saturday of every even month of 2025.

Columbia County is participating in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.  Kids 0-5 years old can be signed-up to receive a FREE book every month in the mail.   The program is designed to encourage a love of reading from an early age.
