The Friends of the Scappoose Public Library will hold a Book Sale on Saturday, September 9th, from 10 to 2! Scappoose Library Basement. Thousands of Books! Fiction & Nonfiction $1.00–$2.00. Youth 17 and under each get one free book.

Columbia County is participating in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.  Kids 0-5 years old can be signed-up to receive a FREE book every month in the mail.   The program is designed to encourage a love of reading from an early age.
