The Scappoose Library Writing Group. Every 3rd Saturday @ 4:00 PM. Join us every 3rd Saturday on Zoom to participate in various writing exercises, get feedback on your writing, and make connections with other writers in your community! This group is led by Dr. Margaret Trenchard-Smith. Email staff@scappooselibrary.org for the Zoom link. Practice! Having a regular writing routine is a great way to improve your skills. Meet people! Meeting others in your community that you share things in common with can be a great way to form connections and friendships!

Columbia County is participating in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.  Kids 0-5 years old can be signed-up to receive a FREE book every month in the mail.   The program is designed to encourage a love of reading from an early age.
