Children's Summer Reading Program

Printable Tracker and Schedule

Titled "Scappoose Public Library Summer Reading Program 2021. The text says "Help the crayons get back to their box! Add a sticker for each day you read. Every 10 days stop by the library to pick up a fun new bead for your collection. After 40 days you'll earn another free book and be entered into our raffle!" In the upper right corner are lines for Name, Age, and Phone. The majority of the page is filled with a meandering path made of circles numbered 1 through 40 to track how many days one has read. At the start of the path there is an empty crayon box and a red crayon giving a thumbs up. There are cartoon crayon people scattered along the path, one of which is writing "Reading Colors Your World." Every tenth number is circumscribed in a square rather than a circle, with additional text as follows. "10 Days? Stop by the library and pick out a bead!" "20 Days? Time to add a new bead!" "30 Days? It's bead time!" "40 Days? You did it! Pick up your bead and another free book!" At the finish there is an orange crayon next to the words "Great job!" and a collection of crayon people partying around a crayon box with one beige crayon inside.
