Get your card
Registration is quick and easy. Visit the circulation desk and bring your photo ID with your current address on it. If you are new to the area and have not yet officially changed your address, please bring your old photo ID and a piece of official mail or documentation with your new name and address on it, such as a utility bill, checkbook or signed rental agreement.
We will ask you to fill out a brief registration card. You will be given a copy of our rules and policies and you will be issued your library card!
Who can get a card
Anyone can get a library card at Scappoose Public Library. There is no charge for residents who live within the Scappoose Library District. On your next visit you will be required to show proof of your new address. For those who reside out of district, fees are as follows:

- Single Card $25.00
- Senior (50+)/ Veteran Card $15.00
Children and teens 16 and under can get cards with the permission of their parent or guardian. Parents must be present at registration.
